In My Bullshit Poetry, Today's Feed

I parked my Millennium Falcon

in the driveway

tailgate over the curb

will probably get a ticket

my neighbours don’t like me

they just stare

the caretaker sold the furniture

painted the place white

hung my favourite paintings

lit a fire

he’d sent word

but I didn’t believe him

the door clicked closed behind me

the air was clean and silent

the return and the beginning

finally present at the same time

I hung my keys on the hook

left my shoes on the mat
