Bio:

Where do I begin? I studied at McMaster University and graduated with honors receiving my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Things were amazing! I was 22 years old and living the dream. But as the years passed I realized something was missing in my life. I felt like I had a greater purpose. Although nursing was a wonderful job I knew I was meant to heal others through holistic medicine. In 2008 I decided to train for my level 1 Reiki with my master Duff Doel. I continued my training in 2011 with my second degree in Reiki. This system of healing was powerful and transformational yet still there was something missing for me. I broke my foot in 2012 and had to take 6 weeks off of work. I then had no excuse as to why I could not take the time to be still, be present, silence my mind and listen for the answers I had been seeking. I had heard someone talk about their personal experiences with homeopathy and although I was not sure what exactly it was I had to find out. I did my own research and was amazed by the wonderful healing properties that these homeopathic remedies provided. I decided to find a school that could offer me further knowledge and practice and came across the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. I decided to do their beginner distance education course to see if I liked the program and within 2 sessions was hooked. Something had shifted inside of me and everything felt aligned. I took this as a sign and without hesitation enrolled into the 3 year program. I have never looked back and I am grateful to have been blessed with the opportunity to now practice Homeopathy and treat those who are suffering from the multitude of illnesses we see today.

Why did you join Consciously Woman?

I joined because I already knew how amazing this group was without having to be an active member in it. I am part of the Alive Homeopathy discussion yet I would drop in now and then to read the amazing stories of all of you! Your stories and heart felt opinions and encouragement were more than enough for me to want to be a part of something greater than myself. This happens to be one of those things. I find today it is more important than ever to be supported – and to support the many amazing talents and ideals that women bring to the table. Thank you for inviting me.

What is your Vision? What is your Dream?

To continue building my Homeopathic/Reiki practice. Not only to just build this practice but to inspire and educate my community on the magnitude of benefits these two modalities provide. Not only for our physical health but for our emotional as well. As the saying goes ‘ You can’t care for others if your not caring for yourself’. Homeopathy and Reiki put people at the forefront of their lives, demanding attention to their well-being and giving back their life and vitality. It’s awesome that I get to bring that to my community while utilizing those very things for my own health.
